Fiorenza De Donatis - Violin PDF Print

Fiorenza De Donatis began studying violin at the age of six under Sister C. Lainati, continuing  under T. Major, and in 1997, after finishing her secondary school state exams, completed her final examinations with honours at the Swiss Italian Conservatoire in Lugano under C.Chiarappa.
Her studies continued at the Sweelink Conservatorium in Amsterdam under Lucy van Darl, where she specialised in  baroque and classical  repertoire  performed on period instruments.
In June 1999 she obtained a  diploma of specialisation and in June 2001was awarded “cum laude” in the diploma as soloist.
She has attended specialisation courses held by T. Varga at Sion, S. Ashkenasi at Saltzburg, and M. Comberti in London.
Together with the violinist Andrea Rognoni, the violist Stefano Marcocchi and the celloist Marco Frezzato  she is a founder-member of the AleaEnsemble which specialises in eighteenth and nineteenth century repertoire. The ensemble is mainly  a string quartet but is at times joined by other instruments according to the needs of the repertoire.

Paolo Zinzani - Violin PDF Print

Paolo Zinzani began his study of the violin under Maestro Gino Poggi at The School of Music  in Ravenna  and was awarded his Diploma in 1986.  He then attended specialisation courses held by Carlo Chiarappa and Enzo Porta in Fiesole and Saltzburg.
He has performed with various orchestras and Chamber ensembles.
He is  a  founder- member  of the Accademia Bizantina of Ravenna  and plays regularly at the most important musical venues in Italy and abroad.
He has recorded with companies like Decca , Frequenz, Arts, Poligram and Denon.
He teaches violin at the “Scuola Comunale di Musica “G.Sarti” and The Scuola Media “Carchidio Strocchi” in Faenza.
He plays a Giuseppe Rocca violin, of 1847.

Jun Okada - Violin PDF Print

Jun Okada was born in 1967 in Nagoya, Japan. He started to study the violin at the age of 3. After he graguated from the Kobe University school of Medicine in 1993, he concentrated to study music at Indiana University school of Music, Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam, and Hochschule fuer Musik in Wuerzburg, with Stanley Ritchie, Jurgen Kussmaul, Lucy van Dael, Gottfried von der Golz. He plays in Accademia Bizantina since 2001. He played also in Les Talens Lyriques, Collegium Vocale Gent, Musica ad Rhenum, Die Nederlandse Bach Vereniging, Niuew Sinfonietta Amsterdam (Amsterdam Sinfonietta). Since 2005 he lives in Florence.
