 Paolo Zinzani began his study of the violin under Maestro Gino Poggi at The School of Music in Ravenna and was awarded his Diploma in 1986. He then attended specialisation courses held by Carlo Chiarappa and Enzo Porta in Fiesole and Saltzburg. He has performed with various orchestras and Chamber ensembles. He is a founder- member of the Accademia Bizantina of Ravenna and plays regularly at the most important musical venues in Italy and abroad. He has recorded with companies like Decca , Frequenz, Arts, Poligram and Denon. He teaches violin at the “Scuola Comunale di Musica “G.Sarti” and The Scuola Media “Carchidio Strocchi” in Faenza. He plays a Giuseppe Rocca violin, of 1847. |
