Libera La Musica celebrates ten years and is back for the 2026/27 season with a new concert programme curated by Accademia Bizantina and Ottavio Dantone.
Created with the aim of introducing an ever-wider and more diverse audience to Baroque and classical music, dispelling the notion that it is a distant and elitist art form, Libera La Musica highlights how this musical language still possesses a remarkable communicative power today.
For years, the festival has been bringing outstanding programmes and performances to the stage of the Teatro Goldoni in Bagnacavallo, establishing a musical and cultural offering of international calibre within the local area.
Alongside the evening concerts, this year Libera La Musica will once again be holding a number of orchestra rehearsals open to the public, giving audiences the chance to experience music from an unusual perspective and discover what goes on behind the scenes of a musical production.
The 2026/27 edition of Libera La Musica starts on 16 September with an open rehearsal, admission free.
Tickets for all the evening concerts are already available for pre-sale on Vivaticket.
Libera La Musica is produced in collaboration with the Bagnacavallo Town Council, Accademia Perduta/Romagna Teatri and the Bagnacavallo Lions Club, , and with funding from the Emilia-Romagna Region under Regional Law No. 13/1999.
